Apollo (Heidi/Huey)

Apollo was born 4/8/12 from Heidi's first litter.  I was 3rd pick male.  I was so excited to get a Rosehall pup.  When the litter arrived Heidi had two girls, both didn't make it. She had only two boys.  Emily sent me an email telling me I wouldn't be getting a pup.  I was pretty upset and disappointed.  When the boys turned about seven weeks, Emily sent me photos of a puppy from that same litter for one reason or another the people couldn't take him.  Did I want him ??  YES !!

Apollo is now eight months old and a joy to have.  He weighs 95 pounds and is a big sweet boy !!  He
s a good swimmer and hiker.  He keeps our older dogs, Razor and Lila active.  It's hard to remember he's just a baby due to his size.  He is a gift !!  The photos are when he was younger.  Will post updated pic's later.

Miss Erela

Hi!
I am four months old.

My mommy says I am a very good girl.

I have a very good teacher.

I get into a little trouble sometimes....

And I am always ready to eat

I Love Mommy!

I would like to start by thanking the Rosehall family for giving me the love in my life that words cannot describe, my Mr. Baer.
It was Love at 1st sight

And, now a place to share joyful stories with other lucky Rosehall GSD parents.
Baer’s first ride was the beginning of a beautiful riding partnership. He believes it’s truly his Mustang – I just make it move.
His excitement when I get home is the equivalent to winning the lottery – every time! My husband tells me it starts about half hour before I am due, waiting by the door and wanting out for every noise that might have been me. He says the world just stopped turning for Baer…”Mommy’s Home!” A dog’s love is so contagious, you just can’t be sad with one in your life. When something rough happens –I just go outside with him and everything seems to not hurt quite as much as it did the moments before. They just know how to be there for you.
He is also quite the lil’ comic; he loves to “steal” socks and hand towels, run up behind and bonk us with it, just to show you what he’s got, then run to the living room to start the games.
These dogs are so smart and so full of love. It’s been 4 ½ years since that first ride and I look forward to each day with my husband and my oversized Rosehall baby Baer.

Mornings with Erela

Erela

This sweet face is currently barking at the puppy in the mirror.
She thinks it is her Nemesis and it must be intimidated at all costs.
I am beginning to wonder if she is gonna look like Mama,Tacie and acts like her Daddy, Alamar?

 To be continued...

I was so happy to get to spend a few hours with my little Erela(Angel) yesterday. She gets to come home a week from Monday. She and her sisters were such a joy to play with. Tacie had to watch for a bit but eventually decided I was a good babysitter.  Each time I look at this sweet face my heart just melts.  Thank you Emily and Eliot. :)

Hagan's 1st day of Cadaver Training

Hagan is an almost 1yr old Marti/Huey male. He is a very loved big boy! I am
Fortunate that I work in a vegerinary hospital & he ets the best of care.
I meet a lot of interesting people & one FEMA search & rescue officer. Hagan is going to learn cadaver search. Because of Hagans large size & weight he isnt ideal for live search because
Of injury to him & the human.
We live in a lake community & have so many drownings each year. Each time they call on these cadaver dogs to come work & help give resolve, peace & closure to families. I am praying Hagan will succeed.
He is so eager to learn & please. He has tried dock diving, but would just rather have
Played in the water than dived. Then he tried agility & would go thru the course & bece bored & go stand in the middle of the tunnel & bark...silly boy!
I could not figure out how to upload pix or video on here so if you wantto see Hagan please fine me on FB Rebecca Myers :)
So proud to be of the Rosehall Kennel Family!

Mia

We have a number of dogs at Rosehall Kennel and we love and cherish each and every one. But for Eliot, one is very special. Emily acquired a black GSD female for Eliot's birthday in 2011. Her name is 'Mia' and Eliot has done a grat job spoiling her. She is 21 months old in this picture.  You'll see more of her in days to come!
